The company ASKONY export-import, spol. s r.o. started up in 1994 and while its existence became an important provider of welded steel tubes and pipes in Slovakia. It supplies spiral welded, buttwelded and seamless steel tubes and pipes which are produced in Slovakia, Czech, Poland, etc. It is the biggest purchaser of spiral welded steel pipes from the U.S.Steel Košice, s.r.o. and also of buttwelded steel pipes from Železiarne Podbrezová, a.s. The subsidiary corporation ASKONY export-import - CZ deals with steel tubes and pipes marketing in Czech Republic.
